I agree completely that Congress should be subject to lie detectors just like the rest of us (“Lawmaker Polygraphs Sought in Leak Probe,” Aug. 2).
My only problem with this is the poor lie detector itself. Considering that Congress is full of professional politicians and that most of them are also lawyers, the machines themselves might well burn out and melt!
