A Jurassic Form of Courtship
A friend of mine has a first-date “filter” policy regarding the Museum of Jurassic Technology (“Trying It With a Net,” by David Pagel, Jan. 27).
If his date enjoys the museum’s poetic eccentricities and sense of reverie, a second call will be forthcoming. If the date expresses irritation or dares to mention the word “stupid,” they are never talked to again.
Upon hearing that David Wilson received a MacArthur fellowship, all I could think was that indeed there is justice in this world.

Wilson is the subject of the cover article yet I couldn’t find any listing for his Museum of Jurassic Technology in the Calendar section. Considering what other “museums” receive a listing, this seems a gross oversight.
