A man gunned down in a drive-by shooting in City Terrace died early Saturday at a hospital, authorities said.
The man was shot about 11:40 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of North Gage Avenue, said sheriff’s Deputy Roberta Granek.
The man, whose name was not released, was about to get into his car when another vehicle--with at least two people inside-- pulled up and an argument began, Granek said.
The gunman shot the victim in the upper body, then he and a companion fled the scene, Granek said. The victim died at 3:30 a.m. at County-USC Medical Center, Deputy Richard Westin said.
Anyone with information is asked to call sheriff’s homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500.
