Chalk One Up for the Teacher

Regarding “Teaching the Younger Generation Respect and Value of a Name” (Feb. 5): Some years ago my husband was teaching a high school class. On the first day he wrote his name on the blackboard. A hand shot up and a voice called out “What’s your first name?” Always one with a quick comeback, my husband said, “Mister, to you.” ’Nuff said.
