Man Kills Woman Sitting in Car

A man walked up to a 25-year-old woman in a car in Boyle Heights late Friday and shot her to death, police said.
Monica Castillo was killed about 11:18 p.m., shot once in the chest as she sat in a car parked in the 3500 block of Siskiyou Street near Lorena Street. Police said the killer was between 18 and 25 years old, but they had no other description or a motive.
