Garfield-Roosevelt Benefit Game Set

A basketball game between former girls’ players at Garfield and Roosevelt highs will be played at noon on Aug. 10 at Garfield as part of a fund-raising effort sponsored by the Parents Academic and Athletic Community Career Council.

The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Riders Benefit Game has no fixed admission, but donations will be sought at the door. Proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships for 2002 graduates from each school.
