IHOP Reports Earnings Up 19% in 4th Quarter

Restaurant operator IHOP Corp. reported its net income rose 19% in the fourth quarter as revenue rose 5.3%. Glendale-based IHOP reported fourth-quarter net income of $11.6million, or 55 cents a share, and revenue totaled $90.4million.
The company said comparable-store sales at its family restaurants were up 0.6%. Shares of IHOP rose 10 cents to $31.20 on the NYSE.
