Wow: Clipper Fans Talk Trash to Lakers

After the “weak” and “pathetic” Laker expedition to Texas, it’s time for you Laker fans to confront the cold hard truth: No more rings for Shaq or Kobe or Phil, and the only question is who will have the honor of delivering the playoff coup de grace.
Will it be the streaking Spurs--gaining vengeance for 2001? Will it be the surging Trail Blazers--gaining retribution for Game 7 in 2000? Or might it even be the team with the brightest future of all, the ascending Clippers--gaining justice for the 20th century?
We lifetime Clipper fans are ready for our century. It’s over, Laker fans. You know it’s over.
