A Prayer for Coach Jailed in Drug Case

Re “Ex-Coach Jailed in Drug Arrest,” April 2:
I was deeply saddened to read of Jon Noel Looney’s arrest on drug charges. It is tragic that, after 17 years of outstanding service, his career with the Brea Olinda Unified School District has come to an end because of an insidious disease. My prayer for Coach Looney is that with the love and support of his family and friends and an adequate drug rehabilitation program, he will be able to regain the tools needed for him to continue to lead a productive and purposeful life.
