Budget Cuts and Community Colleges

Re “Budget Cuts Harm Community Colleges,” April 6:
Your April 3 editorial and George Skelton’s Capitol Journal column concerning community college budget cuts were right on target.
If politicians could fly, that place called the Capitol would be an airport. They all need a crash course in community college functions to correct a long-standing bias in the real world of academia.
How any group of educated men and women with any intellect could put this state in a $34-billion budget hole is beyond me. Their solutions are just as shallow.
