Justin Anderson, Canyon Country Canyon: Had seven RBIs in the seventh inning of 18-2 victory over Oxnard Rio Mesa in the championship game of the rain-postponed Westside tournament.
Blake Ribnick, Malibu: Had bases-loaded single in bottom of seventh to give the Sharks a 5-4 nonleague victory over Oak Park.
Aaron Levin, Calabasas: Hit three-run homer in top of the seventh to lift the Coyotes to a 5-3 nonleague victory over Mission Hills Alemany.
Manuel Pineda, Garden Grove Santiago: Homered in the top of seventh to lift Cavaliers to a 5-4 victory over Mission Viejo in the first round of the Newport Mesa tournament.
SOFTBALL
Allie Aleman, Santa Ana Mater Dei: Her bases-loaded triple in the fourth lifted the No. 3 Monarchs to a 3-0 victory over No. 1 Corona Santiago in the second game of a doubleheader, earning Mater Dei a split.
Taryne Mowatt, Corona Santiago: Threw a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts in 1-0 victory over Mater Dei in the first game of a doubleheader, and set up the winning run with a one-out double in the seventh.
Stephanie Churchwell, Lake Forest El Toro: Had a solo homer in the third inning and game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning of 2-1 victory over West Covina in the first round of the Irvine Woodbridge tournament.
DIVING
Michael Hilde, Laguna Hills: Won the diving competition at the Mission Viejo Invitational with 579.80 points, edging defending Southern Section Division I champion Dwight Dumais of Ventura Buena (568.05).
