Aid Workers to Enter Iraq, U.N. Official Says

The top U.N. humanitarian official on Iraq said a team of 13 international staff members will return to parts of northern Iraq on Monday and the U.N. presence in southern Iraq will be expanded. Ramiro Lopes da Silva, the U.N.’s aid coordinator in Iraq, stressed, however, that security in the country remained a problem and U.S. and British troops must move quickly to assume a strong policing role.
