A Web site that pokes fun at Saddam Hussein’s information minister became such a global hit that its operators had to temporarily pull the plug to switch to more powerful computers.
To help pay for the upgrades, the site will sell T-shirts featuring quotes from Mohammed Said Sahaf, who maintained with a straight face that Iraqi troops were routing the Americans. The site, WeLoveTheIraqiInformationMinister.com, features real quotes such as “There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!”
