New Zealander Arrested After Airplane Fracas

A New Zealand man aboard a Lufthansa flight from Munich to Los Angeles was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly banged on the cockpit door demanding to talk with pilots and saying, “We all have to die.”
The flight was over Colorado when the captain asked passengers for help in subduing the man, according to the FBI. Several passengers restrained the suspect, Bojan Pavkovic, 35, while the crew handcuffed him and a doctor gave him Valium.
Pavkovic later said he wanted the captain to announce that Pavkovic loved his wife, the FBI said. He also believed the pilot might not be in the cockpit and that he might have to fly the plane although he’s not a pilot.
