Twellman Scores Again, Revolution Ties San Jose

Taylor Twellman scored his league-leading 13th goal in the 52nd minute Saturday to help the New England Revolution earn a 1-1 tie with the San Jose Earthquakes in front of 14,877 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
The Revolution improved to 5-7-8. Western Conference-leading San Jose (10-3-7) took a 1-0 lead on Brian Ecklund’s first goal of the season in the 23rd minute.

Dallas 3, Kansas City 2 -- Joselito Vaca had a goal and an assist to help the Burn win in front of 7,712 at Southlake, Texas. Dallas (4-12-4) had not scored a goal in its previous three games and had given up eight goals in its previous two losses to Kansas City (7-6-7).
Brad Davis scored the go-ahead goal for Dallas on a penalty kick in the 54th minute.

Chicago 3, D.C. United 1 -- Jesse Marsch, Ante Razov and DaMarcus Beasley scored to help the Fire (9-4-6) win in front of 12,642 at Naperville, Ill.
D.C. United is 7-7-6.

Colorado 2, Columbus 1 -- Mark Chung scored 58 seconds into overtime to give the Rapids (8-9-3) the win over Columbus (5-9) in front of 11,671 at Denver.
