Northrop to Add Staff for Top-Secret Operation

Defense firm Northrop Grumman Corp. will add more than 180 workers at McClellan Park next year, officials said.
The defense contractor plans to move a top-secret telecommunications operation to the former Air Force base. Some employees will relocate with the operation when it moves from Sunnyvale to North Highlands, just north of Sacramento.
It will boost Northrop’s presence at McClellan to more than 400 employees and 258,000 square feet.
