One Crime Fails to Cushion the Other

A man has pleaded guilty in Marin County Superior Court to burglarizing a movie theater last month -- to pay his bail in a drug case.
David Alan Hoffmann agreed to plea bargains Monday in both cases and will face a maximum term of six years in prison when sentenced next month.
Police found him hiding on a catwalk on the second floor of the Regency VI Theater.
