Volunteers Plan Local Effort to Find Woman

The search for a missing pregnant woman from Modesto who disappeared on Christmas Eve day will come to Los Angeles today.
Family and friends of Laci Peterson will hold a news conference at the Doubletree Hotel on Wilshire Boulevard to organize volunteer efforts. On Sunday, volunteers can pick up fliers, buttons and posters of the woman and paste them around L.A.
Peterson was eight months pregnant when she disappeared while walking her dog.
