Reward Offered for Suspect in Slayings

Police offered a $5,000 reward Saturday for information leading to the arrest of a teenage boy allegedly involved in the shooting deaths of two men.
Tony Manuel Barron, 16, and other unidentified suspects allegedly killed the men in two separate shootings, said Pomona police Sgt. Jerry Wright. Desmond Boykins, 20, was killed July 5 on the 1600 block of Alameda Street. On Thursday, Antaun Wheatly, 20, was killed on the corner of Holt Avenue and Palomares Street, Wright said.
