A grab bag of Las Vegas rates
I found James Gilden’s article “It’s About More Than Just the Prices” (The Internet Traveler, July 6) right on the mark.
I recently tried to book a room in Las Vegas. I went to a search engine and keyed in “Las Vegas Hotels.” I tried all the sites listed. The price was different on each site.
Finally I went directly to the hotel Web site, and the price was at least $10 a night cheaper than on any of the sites that had come up in the search.
