Hillary Clinton’s Book: Shock Is Relative
- Share via
Re “Clinton Describes Day She Learned of Affair,” June 4: Hillary Rodham Clinton shocked? She is much smarter than that. She has endured too many of what Bill Clinton’s ’92 campaign staff called “bimbo eruptions.”
I believe that Hillary and Bill Clinton have maintained their marriage and separate lives for political purposes, for many years. I don’t think that she was shocked at all about the Lewinsky affair, except that Bill picked such a young and vulnerable girl. We will have to wait many more years before the real “tell all” book is written.

There is a correlation between the revelations in Hillary Clinton’s book and the futile search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq: Bill Clinton’s lies killed his reputation; George W. Bush’s lies kill people.

So Hillary Clinton has written her memoirs, has she? And Bill’s are set to be published within the year? I’ll be sure to look for both tomes in the fiction section of my local bookstore.
