Man Convicted in Fatal Stabbing of Girlfriend

An Ontario man has been convicted of second-degree murder for the stabbing death of his girlfriend, a former high school swimming star. Frederick Guest, 46, will be sentenced Aug. 1 in Orange County Superior Court.
Guest stabbed Julie Sangari, 37, in July 2001. The couple had been embroiled in a custody dispute involving their two children.
