City Council Approves Ban on Bow Fishing

Fishermen who use bows and arrows to spear their catch will no longer be allowed to practice the controversial sport in Imperial Beach.
The City Council voted unanimously to ban bow fishing, which opponents said put surfers and swimmers at risk.
