Woman’s Alleged Killer Pleads Not Guilty

Victor Lawrence Paleologus, accused of killing an aspiring actress and dumping her body in the Hollywood Hills, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a capital murder charge.
Last month, the 40-year-old ex-convict was charged with murdering Kristine Johnson, 21, of Santa Monica during an attempted rape on Feb. 15, the day she disappeared after telling her roommate she was going to meet a photographer in Beverly Hills.
Paleologus has twice been convicted of luring women with false promises of potential acting jobs.
