“Bull Durham” caused a stir earlier this year when the Baseball Hall of Fame rescinded its invitation for a 15th anniversary celebration of the film’s release due to fears that stars Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon would turn the festivities “political.” In this West Coast screening, just two days after the anniversary date, writer-director Ron Shelton and producer Thom Mount will be on hand to discuss the sweet and sexy love story involving two minor-league players and the ultimate baseball groupie.
