Sweet music and pie in Wisconsin

As frequent visitors to Door County, Wis., we were happy to read “A Fine Kettle of Fish on Lake Michigan” (June 1) about this Midwestern gem.
But the article omitted Door County’s vibrant entertainment scene. Our favorite is the American Folklore Theater, which produces original musicals in a large amphitheater in Peninsula State Park. Also worth the trip is a visit to Sweetie Pies in Fish Creek, home of delicious handmade pies that rival any that Grandma makes.
