From Staff and Wire Reports
Three San Diego councilmen under scrutiny in a federal bribery and public corruption probe met with the lobbyist for a Las Vegas strip-club owner in the last four months, according to their city calendars.
Councilmen Michael Zucchet, Charles Lewis and Ralph Inzunza all met with Lance Malone, a lobbyist for strip-club owner Michael Galardi. The FBI raided the offices of the three councilmen last month. All have denied wrongdoing.
Probes in San Diego and Las Vegas center on whether officials were given bribes to change laws regulating strip clubs.
