Memorial Service Will Honor Susan Nelson

A memorial service for Susan Nelson, an influential environmental advocate and community activist who died May 4, will be held in Solstice Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Because parking is limited, those wishing to attend are asked to call (310) 244-3135 for instructions.
The family says donations may be made to the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore Foundation, 24875 Bob Batchelor Road, Calabasas, CA 91302.
