The Beach Water Quality Report, published last summer in the California section, will return on The Times’ weather page once a week, beginning today. The grades listed in this report reflect the bacterial water quality condition of selected beach locations, as determined by the Santa Monica-based, nonprofit environmental group Heal the Bay. The results of each report are based on daily and weekly water samples that have been scientifically analyzed by various city and county health agencies throughout Southern California.
