From Times Wire Reports
The task force hunting for a serial killer preying on women in southern Louisiana is investigating the disappearance of a graduate student Monday.
Carrie Lynn Yoder, a doctoral student in plant biology from Florida, lives near Louisiana State University, like two of the serial killer’s four known victims. But police cautioned that they had found little else to connect Yoder’s disappearance to the killings.
DNA evidence so far has linked one man to the slayings of four women -- three in the Baton Rouge area and one in Lafayette.
