Ex-Officer’s Charges in Sex Case Are Reduced

A former Woodlake police officer accused of sexually attacking a teenager has been sentenced to 100 hours of community service.
Tulare County Superior Court Judge Ronn Couillard on Tuesday reduced three felony charges of sex with a minor against Eric Martinez, 26, to misdemeanor sexual conduct.
Martinez was charged in November with sexually attacking a 17-year-old Explorer Scout from June to September. He resigned from the force after the arrest.
