Woman’s Charred Body Found in Burned Auto

The charred body of a woman was found Friday in a burned sport utility vehicle near Mt. Baldy in the Angeles National Forest, authorities said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives responded to Mount Baldy Road about 3 p.m., said Deputy Bill Spear. The SUV was just off the road. The woman’s age and identity have not been released.
