5-Year-Old Fatally Mauled by 2 Dogs

A 5-year-old girl died Friday after she let herself into a fenced area and was mauled by two Rottweiler dogs, authorities said. The name of the girl was not immediately released.
San Bernardino Sheriff’s Lt. Don Miller said the girl’s father was working nearby and heard noises from the animals. He scared off the dogs and called 911, but his daughter died a short time later at a hospital.
