One man died and another man was wounded in a car-to-car shooting early Monday morning in West Hollywood.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about shots fired at 2:16 a.m. in the 8800 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Deputies found the victims on Larrabee Street, just north of Sunset. One driver had been killed and a passenger was wounded. The second passenger was uninjured.
Additional law enforcement units followed a silver vehicle seen speeding south on San Vicente Boulevard. Witnesses identified the vehicle, which was eventually stopped at Robertson and Olympic boulevards.
The four men in that car were taken into custody, but authorities would not disclose why. No weapon was recovered.
The name of the slain driver was not released, pending notification of relatives. The injured passenger was in stable condition.
