USC, Art Center students win
Students from USC and Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design have won first-place honors at the 24th annual College Television Awards Competition, sponsored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation.
They’ll be honored here this weekend along with the winners for comedy, documentary, music and news/sports/magazine shows.
Capturing the $2,000 award for drama were USC’s Michael Fimognari, Fabrice Lorenceau, Alexandra Steele and Frederick Wedler for “Ocha Cups for Christmas.” Joey Jones and Wira Winata of the Art Center College of Design won the $2,000 nontraditional animation prize for “Little Red Plane.”
