Police searched Tuesday for thieves who stole five luxury sport utility vehicles from a car dealership.
The Cadillac Escalades, collectively worth $280,000, were driven off the parking lot of Allen Cadillac in the 28000 block of Camino Capistrano about 9:30 p.m. Monday, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Phil Johnson.
Deputies later found four of them parked in residential neighborhoods in Orange and Fontana.
The vehicles were missing rims and tires, all valued at $28,000.
The thieves entered the dealership after it closed and rammed five cars to the side to make way for the SUVs, investigators said.
