UCLA VS. NO. 1 ARIZONA
Season results: UCLA (9-18 overall, 6-12 in Pacific 10), Arizona (25-2, 17-1 in Pac-10), Arizona has defeated UCLA by at least 30 points three times in the last two seasons, including by scores of 87-52 and 106-70 this season. UCLA edged the Wildcats, 77-76, last season at Pauley Pavilion.
How they match up: They don’t. Arizona was head, shoulders and torso above the Bruins in both meetings this season, winning by a combined 71 points. UCLA has no answer for Wildcat center Channing Frye or his backup, burly Isaiah Fox. Arizona also has more senior leadership, better guard play and greater depth.

Keys to the game: Arizona uses devastating runs that bury opponents. UCLA knows this firsthand, so a key will be to make adjustments quickly and stem a Wildcat rally. UCLA must shoot at a high percentage to cut down on Arizona’s fastbreak opportunities.
