A bomb exploded on a passenger train in Bombay, killing at least 11 people and wounding 65.
At least eight of those killed were women. The blast went off between the women’s first-class compartment and the general compartment, an official said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility. The blast came a day after the 10th anniversary of a dozen coordinated bombings in the Indian city, blamed on Islamic militants, that killed 257 people and wounded at least 1,100.
