3 Palestinian Police Killed in Gaza Clash

Israeli forces clashed with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, killing three policemen, Palestinians and the Israeli military said. Witnesses said Israeli helicopters fired two missiles at a Palestinian police post, killing the three men and wounding four others.
About 10 tanks entered the outskirts of the town and surrounded police posts, witnesses said. The Israeli military said soldiers were searching the Beit Hanoun area and arresting suspected militants in an attempt to stop rocket, gun and bomb attacks.
