Crews recovered the last of 83 children who were killed when their dormitory in Celtiksuyu collapsed in an earthquake.
Authorities halted the search for survivors among the debris of the dormitory, said Ahmet Yilmaz, a spokesman for the government’s earthquake crisis center in Bingol. Teams located four bodies overnight.
The magnitude 6.4 earthquake early Thursday killed 167 people and injured more than 1,000. The dormitory collapsed on the sleeping children.
