Ex-Councilwoman Makes Plea Deal

Former Councilwoman Raunda Frank pleaded guilty Monday to taking part with other council members in a conspiracy to extort $600,000 from a bidder on the city’s long-term waste-hauling contract.
Frank became the sixth defendant to plead guilty in the corruption case . Under terms of her plea agreement, Frank faces 30 to 37 months in prison.
