Promoter’s Alleged Killer Pleads Not Guilty

A 19-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the murder of Cajon Speedway promoter Steve Brucker, who was shot to death at his home April 14, according to the San Diego County district attorney’s office.
Brandon Handshoe, who was arrested Wednesday, also faces allegations of committing the murder in the course of a burglary and residential robbery, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Bill Collins. If convicted, Handshoe could be sentenced to life in state prison without the possibility of parole.
