vs. No. 7 Arizona, 3 p.m., Channel 7
Site -- Pauley Pavilion
Radio -- XTRA 1150/690
Records -- UCLA 9-3, 5-0 in Pacific 10; Arizona 10-3, 2-2.
Update -- The Bruins will be unable to double-team Wildcat center Channing Frye as often as they did Arizona State’s Ike Diogu because Frye is surrounded by better shooters. Frye averages 14.9 points and shoots 52%, but six of his teammates average at least nine points a game. UCLA 7-foot center Michael Fey averages the fewest rebounds of any Bruin starter. Guard Brian Morrison remains sidelined because of a hamstring injury. Lute Olson’s next victory will make him the Wildcats’ all-time leader. Olson is 509-150 in 21 seasons at Arizona; Fred Enke was 509-324 in a 36-season career that ended in 1961.
