Re “Vision of the Future May Be Only Mirage,” March 15: California City officials are using eminent domain to take land that belongs to American citizens so they can sell it to a foreign corporation. This corporation will then use this land for an automobile test track to help it make vehicles to compete with our domestic products. This is an example of how globalization benefits large corporations to the detriment of average people.
