Holiday closures

Thursday is Veterans Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Offices: All city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.
Mail: There will be no mail delivery and post offices will be closed.
Libraries: Most branches will be closed.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Schools: Public schools will be closed. Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will hold classes; UCI offices will be open, but classes will not be held.
Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their regular schedules. Information: (714) 636-RIDE.
Metrolink: Trains will run on normal schedules.
Trash collection: Check with your local public works department for collection schedules.
