GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
* Mallorie Croal, Santa Ana Mater Dei: Had 30 kills, including nine in the second game and 10 in the third, and three blocks in a 17-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17 victory over Huntington Beach in the quarterfinals of the Southern Section Division II-AA playoffs.
* Ashley Engle and Brittany Lowe, Anaheim Esperanza: Engle had 21 kills, and Lowe had 17 kills and four aces in a 25-19, 25-23, 25-20 Division I-AA win over Long Beach Wilson.
* Annie Meyers and Laura McLaughlin, South Torrance: Meyers had 19 kills, and McLaughlin had 14 in a 25-20, 25-15, 26-24 Division II-A win over Irvine Woodbridge.
* Colleen Burke, Huntington Beach Edison: Finished with 15 kills, five aces and three digs in a 25-19, 25-17, 25-21 Division II-AA victory over Newport Harbor.
* Samantha Taylor, San Pedro: Finished with 11 kills, 14 assists and 13 digs in a 16-25, 25-14, 26-24, 25-19 victory over Harbor City Narbonne in a City Section semifinal.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
* Eric Vreeland, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake: Had four goals and one assist in an 8-6 victory over Newport Harbor in the Southern Section Division I quarterfinals.
* Matt Sagehorn and Scott Swanson, Long Beach Wilson: Sagehorn had five goals, and Swanson had four in a 13-7 Division I victory over Irvine Northwood.
* Srdan Milic, Chino Hills Ayala: Finished with five goals, two assists and two steals in a 12-6 Division V victory over Redlands.
* Alex Mule, Anaheim Servite: Had four goals, four assists and six steals in a 15-8 Division II victory over Brea Olinda.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
* Cassie Strange and Michelle Stock, Valencia: Each won two sets in singles by large margins to key an 82-71 win on games in a Southern Section Division III quarterfinal victory over previously unbeaten Beaumont.
* Jovanna Sangria, Long Beach Wilson: Swept her singles sets, 6-3, 6-0, 6-4, to help win, 88-84 on games, in a Division III win over Palos Verdes Peninsula Chadwick.
