From Times Staff Reports
The city will spend $732,000 to remodel a municipal building at 6501 Fountain Ave. in Hollywood and convert it into another neighborhood city hall, Mayor James K. Hahn and Councilman Tom LaBonge, who represents the area, announced Tuesday.
It will be the fourth neighborhood city hall to open since Hahn announced plans last year to decentralize services, after secession efforts by the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood.
Local city halls have opened in San Pedro, South Los Angeles and Van Nuys.
