One man was killed and two others were critically injured early Friday in a crash that may have involved alcohol, officials said.
Chang Lee, 21, of Fullerton died after his car was broadsided, rolled over and hit a light pole, said Police Sgt. Gary Worrall. Lee’s passenger, Hee Lee, 20, of La Mirada, and the driver of the other car, Lorenzo Gutierrez, 31, of Pico Rivera, were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
The 3:30 a.m. accident occurred when one of the drivers ran a red light at Valley View Street and Crescent Avenue, Worrall said. He said both had been drinking.
