The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday directed its staff to move forward with plans to post campaign finance documents and contract information online, as well as start an e-mail subscription service.
Available information will include campaign contributors, county contracts, a searchable database of board agendas, and a service to send subscribers updates on particular topics.
The effort could cost up to $453,000 to start, with annual costs of up to $173,000, officials said.
