Jury Is Deadlocked in Teen Girl’s Murder Trial

Jury members in Juneau said they could not reach a verdict in the trial of a teenager accused of plotting her mother’s slaying with two older ex-boyfriends in the town of Craig.
The jury was in its fifth day of deliberations when it told Superior Court Judge Patricia Collins it could not reach a decision.
Rachelle Waterman, 17, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, murder in the first and second degree, kidnapping, burglary, vehicle theft and tampering with evidence.
